Many centuries ago, the Incas governed this vast empire, which was connected by thousands of miles of stone-paved highways, from their cultural and religious center in Cusco.
Many fine carved stone monuments stand today, a testament to the skill of their master architects. Take in the spirit of Cusco as you walk on its cobble stoned streets admiring its combined culture of the Incas and Spaniards.
The Experience:

Lima:
Miraflores (Lima). Lima, also known as the City of Kings
Cusco.
The old Inca capital is the main destination of everyone’s trip. Cusco has a unique charm and provides an interesting mix of Andean and Spanish cultures.
Q’oricancha, the Temple of the Sun. At the Q’oricancha you will be able to compare and contrast the building methods of the Incan culture and Catholicism. This was the key spiritual center of the Incas, which leads to all four quarters of the Inca Empire.
Sacsayhuaman, The Royal House of the Sun with its enigmatic, 200 tons monoliths, You will be able to hear from your guide and then, explore on your own.
Sacred Valley:
Pisaq. Explore the extensive ruins of Pisac with stunning views over the Sacred Valley
Ollantaytambo. Surrounded by the sacred mountains, where we will again discover the magnificence of the Incan constructions and the beauty of the local people in their traditional dress
Moray/Moray. This archeological site is believed (in theory) to have been used by the Incas as an agricultural experiment center.
Machu Picchu:
Machu Picchu. The lost city of the Incas surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and with some of the most impressive Inca buildings ever constructed, Machu Picchu iss the highlight of Peru.
DAY 1: ARRIVE IN CUSCO – CITY WALKING TOUR
On arrival at Cusco International Airport, we will be transferring you to the hotel in the centre of the city. We will then take you to a local restaurant for lunch.
The Tour:
After lunch your guide will meet you to start your tour. We will start with a visit to the large lively San Pedro Market where all the locals shop. Here you will see the preparation of fresh fruit juice, Andean cheeses, and taste an exotic fruit such as cherimoya and granadia.
You will also get to see Andean meats, grains, fresh vegetables, healing medicinal stands and more. Then we will walk towards the Plaza de Armas. The main square of Cusco City. We will be passing through the lovely Arch of Santa Clara.
We will stop by the fountain surrounded by beautiful flowers and benches where our guide will give you an introduction to the Inca Empire. Then we will walk through Calle Triunfo to the street Hatun Rumiyoq.
Here you will get to see the twelve angle stone. It is considered one of the most unique in the world. We will take a steep walk up to the Bohemian district of San Blas that has many artists ‘studios, artisan workshops, sculptors, small bars, restaurants, hotels and a small Temple of San Blas, in the main plaza.
After the guided tour, we will drop you off at your hotel.

Optional extra cost: Add the Cathedral, Coricancha and four ruins on the outskirts of Cusco City.
DAY 2: MARAS MORAY TOUR
We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco. Then we will drive you for 20 minutes to Moray. On our way, you will be able to admire the natural beauty of the Peruvian highland farms and countryside.
Once at Moray, the tour guide will assist you in buying the entrance ticket. If you have already got your Tourist Ticket or Boleto Turistico, you can use it here. Here we will be giving you a detailed tour of the complex.
Moray houses three circular farming terraces each dug into the ground. Our guide will be explaining how it positively impacted the life of Incas then and the life today.
We will then be driving you to Maras salt flats. This is a unique sight. There are more than some 3000 salt pools carved on a hillside. To avoid contamination of the site, the authorities now restrict access closer to the salt pools.
You can however get a panoramic view from the viewpoint.
After visiting these two prime sites of the Sacred Valley of Incas, we will be driving you back to Cusco. On our way back, we will have a brief stop in Chinchero.
It is home to the Andean textile industry. Chinchero has the most fertile soil. The archaeological complex here houses a white-washed church that once served as an Inca palace.
After the tour, we will be driving you back to Cusco city.
DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHU PICCHU TOWN)
We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco early in the morning for a full day tour from Cusco. Then in our private transport, we will be driving you for an hour to Pisac. We will be visiting the archaeological complex. Here our local guide will be giving you a detailed tour.
We will then continue the tour to the village. Here you can visit the traditional market.
We will then drive to Urubamba. Here we will be stopping for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will be driving to Ollantaytambo. We will be visiting the ruins here. Our guide will be explaining the prominence of the complex sharing some insider’s information.
You will then board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes. It is a three hours journey. You will be rewarded with sights of the Andean highland farms and villages. Once at Aguas Calientes, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Quite early in the morning, you will be boarding the bus from Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu. It is a 25 minutes journey up the hill. On reaching the entrance of Machu Picchu, our guide will be meeting you and will assist you in clearing the control and entering the citadel.
Machu Picchu Tour:
Here we will give you a two hours guided tour of Machu Picchu citadel. After the tour, you will have some free time to walk around the citadel. If you have booked in advance to hike to Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu mountain, our guide will be directing you to the respective entrance.
Alternatively, you can hike to the Sungate. It is free and takes 2 hours to hike back and forth from the citadel. Those on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu enter the citadel through the Sungate. It offers a spectacular view of the citadel.
After exploring Machu Picchu, you will be taking a bus back down to Aguas Calientes. Here you will be boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Once in Ollantaytambo, our representative will be meeting you and will be driving you back to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 5: FREE DAY IN CUSCO
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the city of the Incas.

DAY 6: CUSCO – LIMA
After breakfast, we will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco and will transfer you to the airport. You will be boarding the flight back to Lima. Our staff will be meeting you at the airport and will transfer you to the hotel in Mira flores.
We will be picking you up in the afternoon to start the city tour of the cultural town of Lima, also known as the City of Kings. On this tour, we will visit classic historical sights, colonial and Inca influenced architecture, residential neighbourhoods, beautiful shrines and churches and incredible panoramic seascapes.
Lima City Tour:
We will then visit the Lima Historical Center, the old side of the city and the capital of the Peruvian viceRoyalty. Then we will Stop at the “Kiss Park” (Parque Del Beso) built in a peculiar Gaudi style and enjoy a beautiful view of the Lima Bay.
Next, you’ll head over to the residential district of San Isidro where you’ll be able to visit the “Huaca Pucllana” and “Huaca Huallamarca”, two famous ceremonial centers built before the Spaniards arrived.
Tour the main square and enjoy a view of the Presidential and Municipal Palaces, two immense buildings whose grandeur is sure to capture your fascination. Then, it’s on to the Lima Cathedral to visit the tomb of the Spanish Conqueror Francisco Pizarro.
After, we´ll visit the Monasterio San Francisco, home to the large underground catacombs said to connect the monastery with nearby churches.
Finally we will visit the most traditional residential areas in the capital: The Olive Grove of San Isidro, Miraflores and LarcoMar for a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, the distinctive tourist Centre of contemporary Lima.
Thereafter, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 7: LIMA – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
