Lovely Trip to Machu Picchu
If you are going to Peru, you MUST make the trip to Machu Picchu. We took the train from Ollyantambo to Aguas Calientes (also know as Machu Picchu Pueblo) and then the bus from the town up to the citadel (note: we used SAMEX to plan our Machu Picchu excursion and they took care of all reservations, tickets and planning for us including the tour guide). We spent about 3 hours exploring the Machu Picchu citadel and it was truly breathtaking and awe-inspiring. Afterward, we had a lovely lunch at Inkaterra and wandered around the cute backpacker town of Aguas Calientes.
