The archaeological nestles on a hilltop overlooking the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is massive and just second in size to Machu Picchu. Our local expert will be giving you an immersive tour of the complex.

After a fun-filled and informative experience, we will be driving you to Ollantaytambo, the former administrative capital of the Incas.
Ollantaytambo is referred to as the living Inca town, this is primarily because the village is well preserved. The drainage system here runs through the village and was built by the Incas. Ollantaytambo features a prominent Inca site.
To the Incas, this was the most sacred site. However, in 1531 the site turned into a battleground when the Spanish conquistadors tried to invade the complex. Our local expert will be giving you an immersive tour of the complex.
Later in the evening, we will be boarding the train from Ollantaytambo train station to Aguas Calientes. The two hours journey offers captivating sights of the highland Andean villages tucked under the snow-capped Andean peaks.
In Aguas Calientes, we will be accommodating you in an ensuite hotel room for the night. The village is popular for the natural hot springs so you can spend the evening taking a dip in the thermal waters.
Early in the morning, the crew will be handing you over a snack box. You will then be boarding a bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel. It is a 25 minutes drive.
Our tour guide will be assisting you in clearing the security control. As we enter the citadel, you will witness the clouds clearing by as the golden rays of the rising sun beaming on the Incan ruins.
After seeing the sunrise at Machu Picchu, your Machu Picchu guided tour starts with an introduction to the Inca civilization. We will then visit some of the notable sites here like the remains of the royal quarters, and ceremonial sites to name a few.

Late that evening, you will be boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Our representative will be meeting you on arrival and will be transferring you back to your hotel in Cusco city. We will be arriving in Cusco by 09:30 PM.
