We highly recommend experiencing the Perolniyoc Waterfall Hike before your trip to Machu Picchu or before your hike on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. This full day trip will help you to understand the culture of Incas and also help you acclimate at the high altitude.
We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 0700 AM. From here, we will be driving you along the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the province of Anta. We will then continue to Huarocondo. On our way, we will make a stop at a viewpoint.
Then we will continue to the village of Socma. Here we will begin the trek to Perolniyoc Waterfall. This is a hidden gem and one of the newly discovered attractions in Cusco.
You will be able to click some wonderful photos here. If you want, we will give you some tips on clicking photos where you will be able to click the waterfall with silk effects.
From here, we will continue hiking to the archaeological site of Raqay Pata. It is located on the top of the waterfall.
Here our local expert will be giving you a guided tour of the place. You will have some free time to explore the site. Once you have had your fill, we will hike down to Socma for a typical Andean lunch.
After lunch, we will be hiking to Ñaupa Church. After visiting the church, we will do a short hike to tour the cave of Ñaupa. Here our local expert will be sharing some facts about the site.
Later in the evening, we will be returning to the car park and take our private transport for the trip back to Cusco City. We normally reach Cusco by 0500 PM.
